Shenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space: A Wine Aesthetics Club

Creating a Yearning Space for New Urban Nobles

In this 760 square meters space, Shenzhen Yunfan International Art Design Co. Ltd. has crafted a wine aesthetics club that aims to convey a state of mind from the heart to the heart, the environment to the heart. The design is characterized by its simplicity, integration of natural elements, and a low-key tone that creates a yearning space for new urban nobles.

The Shenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space, designed by Shenzhen Yunfan International Art Design Co. Ltd., stands out with its unique approach to creating a wine aesthetics club. The entire space is given a low-key tone, both inside and out, allowing the day and night light and shadow changes to become an integral part of the interior. The design team finds a secluded and elegant corner amidst the city's flashiness and disturbance, aiming to create a space that allows people to savor nature and life.

The design team's intention is to help the owners create a yearning space that can be admired but not easily obtained. The space is characterized by its simplicity and integration of natural materials such as cement, marble, and raw wood. These materials, with their rough and natural textures, provide a backdrop that enhances the overall aesthetic of the wine aesthetics club.

With a total area of 760 square meters, the Shenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space is designed with the public activity space at its center. Each functional area is arranged horizontally, taking advantage of the open flat layer to create a segmented and dynamic line interaction. This design approach allows for smooth transitions and independent spaces that cater to different social activities.

Entering the space, one is immediately introduced to the design vocabulary of criss-cross, dense, and orderly lines. The vertical and concave exhibition areas of different sizes carefully outline the beauty of curved borders, creating a sense of relaxation and entering the "third space." The design of the wine aesthetics club is not only about creating a place for wine enthusiasts but also about providing a haven for quiet life and indifferent friendship.

The Shenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space project started in January 2018 and was completed in January 2019 in Shenzhen. It is a testament to the designer's dedication to creating a unique and inspiring space for wine lovers in this young Chinese international metropolis. The design combines Oriental meaning with Western craft, providing a space that goes beyond the traditional wine bar and serves as a "third space" for the younger generation.

The Shenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space, designed by Shenzhen Yunfan International Art Design Co. Ltd., has been recognized for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This award recognizes designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. The design of the wine aesthetics club contributes to quality of life improvements, making the world a better place.
